Woudhaven marina

For the marina I built a payment and access system of its own. Guests pay for the shower, the washing machine and the door themselves.

What I built for the marina

• Four smart plugs: two showers, the main door and the washing machine.
• A payment page for guests.
• Everything runs on a server that I host and maintain, so the marina doesn't need to install anything.

The owner only plugged in the plugs and connected them to the Wi-Fi. I did the rest remotely.

When something goes wrong

If the power or Wi-Fi drops, the door stays shut. There is an emergency key on site.
